Gradient lateral flow assay devices:

because our world isn’t       binary.

Allele has focused on innovating lateral flow assay devices because patients and clinicians alike appreciate their ease of use, simple interface, and approachable design. Since the inception of paper-based microfluidics, researchers have investigated how to extract as much detail as possible from a sample. Allele’s contribution to the intersection of user experience and diagnostics is the invention of a type of lateral flow assay device with a gradient output — rather than the binary “positive’ or ‘negative’ result output by current devices.

It is our intention to facilitate detailed assays, with engaging insight into the quantity, quality, and characteristics of analytes, rather than solely their presence or excessiveness.
